"Sparkling pool" = that sparkle you see? that's the rusty rebar from the bottom of the pool glinting in the sun

The good news is we found a fantastic home inspector.

The bad news is the house is 32 years old and not well maintained.

So I think we may pass - we'll talk to our realtor and perhaps some general contractors tomorrow.

I never loved the house, it just seemed like a good deal. Now, not so much.

The perils of having kids in your 30's...

When your almost 3-year-old raises herself off of the ground, she says "oof," just like you do.

So we're a little bit living in a reality show - one where they say, "Quick - find and close on a house in 6 weeks while also working, raising a child, and celebrating multiple birthdays and holidays." Someone will keep you posted on our progress; I may shoot myself in the head before it's all done.
